Evidence to the PACAC Inquiry into Government Decision-Making

Written evidence offered by the BGI in response to the PACAC inquiry into safeguards for proper government decision-making. Driven by the publication of the Chilcot Report, the document analyses the decision-making processes used by the government and the “guardianship role” the Cabinet Secretary has within these processes.

This publication presents the personal views of the author and not those of The Constitution Society, which publishes it as a contribution to debate on this important subject.
